My stay at the Empress Residence Resort and Spa was a mix of very nice highlights and a few disappointing moments. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, and the staff genuinely make you feel at home, especially at the Empress Dynasty Bar & Cafe. However, the noise from a pool party during my stay was disruptive, and the breakfast left much to be desired for a five-star experience. Overall, I had a relaxing getaway that I wouldn't hesitate to extend next time.
